Our Doctrine
The following is a statement of the Christian beliefs we hold to be essential to our church as we serve Christ:
We believe in one true God, Maker, Sustainer and Ruler of all things, who is revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe God has made himself known to us through his Holy Scriptures. Being written under inspiration of God,
these Scriptures are the only written authoritative rule of faith and practice.
We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God sent to offer salvation through his substitutionary
death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead.
We believe that forgiveness of sin and eternal life are available only to those who have come to trust Jesus as Savior and follow Him as Lord.
We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who guides, empowers and comforts us day by day.
We believe in the Church Universal made up of all believers throughout the world. We also believe and are committed to the
local church as a local body of believers who desire to promote the work of Christ through corporate worship,
personal resources, evangelistic outreach, and Biblical education.
We further believe that the local church will mature and grow as it displays the love of Christ both to those outside the
church as well as those in the regular fellowship of believers.
We believe that Christ will come again at the end of the age to rule, judge, and usher in the eternal age. There will be a new heaven and a new earth and all those who have remained faithful shall dwell with God and Jesus Christ in eternal bliss.
